Thomas J. Mahoney, Jr.
President and Chief Executive Officer, Board Member
Tom has been an integral and transformative member of ITAGroup since joining the organization in 1987 as national account manager. A graduate of the University of Iowa, he has helped lead ITAGroup as vice president of marketing, vice president of sales and marketing, executive vice president of sales and marketing and executive vice president and chief operating officer. Since 2009, he has served as president and CEO.
Richard A. Rue
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Board Member
Dick joined ITAGroup as vice president of finance in 1989 and became senior vice present and CFO in 1990. A graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, Dick previously held CFO positions with Diamond Scientific and Graham Investment Company, and was a manager of McGladrey & Pullen Certified Public Accountants.
Mary Z. Bussone
Senior Vice President – Event Management, Board Member
A graduate of Drake University, Mary joined ITAGroup as an event coordinator in 1977. Her commitment to client service and her creative approach to this segment of the business led her to become manager and then director of purchasing for products and development; director of travel service, vice president of incentive travel, and in 1998, senior vice president of event management and a board member.
Doug Stine
Senior Vice President, National Sales Operations and Emerging Markets
Doug joined ITAGroup as senior vice president in 2011. A graduate of Western State College, Doug previously held the midwest president role at Home Services Lending, an affiliate of Wells Fargo Home Mortgage and a senior vice president role at Wells Fargo & Company.
John Rose
Vice President – Information Technology
John joined ITAGroup as vice president – information technology in 2008. He is a graduate of Utah’s Weber State University and has an MBA from the Marriott School at Brigham Young University. John was integral in various information technology projects with Utah Power & Light and American Express, including incentive services and prepaid-card technology, before coming to ITAGroup.
Beth Schelske
Vice President – Performance Solutions Group
Beth joined ITAGroup in 2001 as director of marketing and the next year was named vice president of the performance solutions group. A graduate of Grinnell College, she gained valuable experience in marketing and incentives working for Maritz and BI before joining ITAGroup.
Kent Schlawin
Vice President – Marketing Communications Group and Individual Awards
A graduate of Iowa State University with a double major in Journalism/Advertising and Mass Media Management, Kent came to ITAGroup in 1986 as communication production director. Over the next 13 years, he took on increasingly greater responsibilities and challenges, first as manager, then director and then vice president of the company’s marketing communications group. In 2002, Kent was named vice president of the marketing communications group and individual awards.
Brent VanderWaal
Vice President – Finance, Controller
Brent began his career with ITAGroup as controller in 1998. He accepted the additional responsibilities of vice president of finance in 2010. A graduate of Central College, Brent was previously a tax manager and auditor with Ernst & Young.
